Who is Darren Hirst, and why should I care?

Darren Hirst began to work in the music industry 25 years ago. To begin with he was a jobbing freelance writer who saw his interviews, reviews and feature articles published in the UK music industry staples: Sounds, NME, and Melody Maker. Over the years, Darren’s work has been published in everything from Kerrang! to the Sunday Times colour supplement. He has also contributed to a number of still-in-print books.

These days when he writes he quite often works with the co-operation and support of the artist rather than the journals. He is the guy to go to when you need promotional materials to support your new album or tour. The best guy to produce the EPK that you want to send out to the very same marketplace that Darren used to work within. He knows the industry and he has the contacts to make it happen for you.
